About Jaime's Work

Jaime Paneque-Gálvez holds a PhD in Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA, Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​Spain), a Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing (IGES, University of Wales, Aberystwyth, UK), and Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Sciences (University of Córdoba, Spain) and Biological Sciences (University of Seville, Spain). He is an Associate Professor at the Center for Research in Environmental Geography (CIGA) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he previously completed a postdoctoral fellowship and held a CONACYT research position. Currently, Jaime is a researcher in the Science, Society, and Innovation Research Area at CIGA, a lecturer and student advisor in the Postgraduate Programs in Geography and in Sustainability Sciences at UNAM, and a member of the Mexican National System of Researchers (SNI) Level 2, in Area IX: Interdisciplinary.
