Jaime Martínez-Valderrama

Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering specializing in Desertification and Global Change with more than 20 years of experience as a researcher and consultant. He has worked in South America, Africa, Asia, and Europe. Expert in System Dynamics models, scientific communicator, and writer, he has published more than 40 articles in high-impact journals. He has also published dozens of articles in other journals and is the author of several books, among them "Deserts and Desertification". He is a contributor to the journal Investigación y Ciencia and currently works at the Experimental Station of Arid Zones of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).
