About jahangir's Work
Currently, working as an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Computer Sc. & IT, Sarhad University, Peshawar Pakistan. The area of specialization is Satellite Earth Observation/Remote Sensing spatial and temporal observation over the land cover of Punjab (Pakistan) to monitor drought, land surface temperature, soil moisture, flood events as well as to focus on the global warming’s in association with Climate Changes.
Recently, I intitiate a society, named, the Pakistan Earth Observation/Remote Sensing Society (PRSS) is the first non-governmental Earth Observation/Remote Sensing society of Pakistan to focus on the Natural Hazards Regional (subnational)ly as well as to share its contribution with the international scientific community and policy makers. Pakistan lies in the south Asian region, where the reliance on ground data is not sufficient for drought monitoring, land surface temperature (LST) and soil moisture as well as dry and wet conditions.
