About Iskar's Work
I am PhD student from Mexico at the Spatial Sciences Institute of the University of Southern California. I am a Fulbright-COMEXUS fellow. I have a B.S. of Environmental Engineering and a M.S. of Urban Studies and Design and a Specialization in Geomatics. I am broadly interested in the relationships between natural conservation and human development and cities. I am currently working on finding ways to evaluate the economic, social and nutritional impacts of dietary habits. I am also a data science and geomatics enthusiast, especially when it is open sourced, so I am always open to collaborate in projects that could benefit from data visualizations.
