About ISAAC's Work

I am Oluwatimilehin Ayo Isaac, a graduate research student in Geography. My work focuses on the human-environment relationships. In particular, I am interested in the integrated impact of climate change, climate adaptation, vulnerability and resilience. I am interested in small-holding farmers/ farming communities. I look at their perception of climate change and responses to climate issues. I am also interested in ecological responses to climate change and crop responses (adoption and abandonment of landrace crops). All of these are toward building a sustainable food system.  I use interdisciplinary research methods like Earth Observation/Remote Sensing and GIS mapping, interviews, and focus group discussions. I combine both quantitative and qualitative methods to contribute to knowledge, advance research and towards achieving sustainable development. I have some journal articles and book chapters on this topic and would be interested in discussing with you any of my research interests.
