About Indale Niguse's Work

I am lecturer and senior researcher at Wollega University, where I have made significant contributions across various fields, including GIS and Remote Sensing, climate science, land use and land cover change, biodiversity conservation, and natural resource management. With a master of science degree in GIS and Remote Sensing and over seven (9) years of research experience, I have focused on applying advanced geospatial technologies to address critical ecological and climatic challenges.

Throughout my career, I have actively engaged in research, significantly expanding knowledge and providing practical solutions within my areas of expertise. My scholarly output, consisting of more than 22 publications in reputable journals, reflects my commitment to advancing scientific understanding and practical application. Alongside my research achievements, I have served as a key reviewer for numerous esteemed journals, demonstrating my deep expertise and critical insight in the field. My role as a reviewer is further supported by professional certifications that attest to my qualifications and dedication.

I also hold the position of Academic Editor for the Geology, Geophysics, and Earth Science journal and have reviewed over 50 papers for various prestigious international journals. My ongoing work continues to shape and advance the fields of GIS, Remote Sensing, and environmental science, establishing me as a leading expert and a valuable contributor to the academic and research community.
