About Huaiwei's Work
Huaiwei Sun was born in Tianmen, Hubei, China in 1985. He received the B.S. and Ph.D. degree in Water Resources and Hydraulic Engineering from Wuhan University in 2006 and 2011. From 2011 to 2012, he was an Assistant Professor with the School of Hydropower and information engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. From 2012 to 2013, he was a post-doc researcher with the Florida State University. Since 2023, he has been an Professor in Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is the author of five books and more than 100 articles. He is an Associate Editor of the journal of Drainage and Irrigation Machinery Engineering, and holds more than 20 patents.
