I’m a total nerd who loves solving problems and developing methods in landscape ecology, biodiversity conservation, and landscape genetics, mostly to see how people and nature really vibe together. In our lab, we go full-on geek mode with spatial stats, machine learning, and AI, teasing apart how ecosystems and biodiversity respond to wildfires, climate swings, urban sprawl, and all the other curveballs Mother Nature and we humans throw at them.
