About Hanna's Work

Hanna is a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Lund University, Sweden. In her PhD project she uses agent-based modeling, GIS and interviews to study private forest owners' responses to biodiversity policies.

With a background in Physical Geography and Gender studies, Hanna has earlier studied water availability in rural Nepal, landslides in Uganda, socio-environmental conflicts in Chilean forestry and movements against mining in Sápmi and Ecuador.
