About Hafid's Work

I am a Moroccan PhD researcher working at the intersection of geohazards, remote sensing, and land-system change. My research uses InSAR time series and complementary geophysical datasets to investigate land subsidence, landslides, and earthquake deformation, with emphasis on the roles of groundwater extraction, climate stress, and geological controls. Through this work, I aim to improve the monitoring and understanding of land degradation and hazard-related surface processes.
