About Fritz's Work
Since 2024, Prof. Dr. Fritz Kleinschroth has been leading the department "Planning for Biodiversity Development" at the Institute of Environmental Planning at Leibniz University Hannover. He studied landscape planning in Berlin, earned his doctorate in France and the United Kingdom, and worked for over seven years as a scientist in the "Ecosystem Management" group at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. His research interests focus on planning socio-ecological approaches to promote biodiversity (Biodiversity No Net Loss) related to the development of infrastructure corridors, urban open spaces, and renewable energies.
