Franziska Wolpert

I am a Geoecologist and work as a phd student with Prof. Dr. Tobias Plieninger in the section "Social-ecological interactions in agricultural systems" at Kassel University. My research interest is mainly about multifunctional agroforestry and regenerative (agri)culture. My first publication is about a comparison of the history of tree-crop landscapes (olives, cork oak, chestnuts) in the Mediterranean Basin as well as about the driving forces behind. Currently, I research on a exciting landscape initiative called "Mosaico" that establishs living barriers such as agroforestry systems agains fire risk in Extremadura, Spain.
