About Estelle's Work
I am a researcher with a Ph.D. in Ecology; I specialize in biodiversity, ecosystem services, and agricultural landscapes. Currently, I work as a postdoctoral researcher at Geography department, University of Zurich in Switzerland, leading the Demand4Restoration project.
My passion lies in exploring the connections between biodiversity, land use, and ecosystem functions and services, particularly within human-dominated landscapes. My academic journey includes international research experiences, including stays at the Agroecology Group at the University of Göttingen, Germany and an exchange program at the University of Helsinki, Finland, enriching my understanding of ecological dynamics across diverse contexts. From 2021 until mid-2024, I worked as Postdoc at Westlake University - Sustainable Agricultural Systems and Engineering Lab and I conducted research Agricultural diversification, Technologies and Knowledge transfer for sustainable food production.
