About Enoch's Work
Dr. Enoch Bessah is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. He has good knowledge and experience in agricultural and environmental engineering and management in the areas of climate change, soil and land-use science and engineering, water resources management, ecosystem services, and integrated assessments and Simulation Modelling (ABM/Predictive/Economic modelling) through education, scientific research, workshop training and publications, employing GIS and Earth Observation/Remote Sensing tools as well as in-situ data collection methods including quantitative data analysis. His objective is to utilize this knowledge and experience in a leadership capacity to build the area of hydro-climatology and ecosystem services, and its related disciplines and to improve his understanding of the interactions between climate, land, soil, crop, biodiversity, and water systems that affect all livelihoods across the globe. He has about 40 peer-reviewed publications and is engaged in locally and internationally-funded research in Ghana and other African countries.
