About Emma's Work
My main research interests are the processes of collaborative generation of knowledge and strengthening of local capacities in decision-making on the human-nature relationship. I am interested in social-ecological systems approaches, urban commons, and indigenous methodologies. I am currently collaborating in collective initiatives on socio-ecological conflicts, water governance, urban green areas management and monitoring of human-nature interrelations in territories of life. I use methodologies from inter and transdisciplinary approaches that encourage reflection and collaboration for the development of change's strategies.
