About Edward's Work

Originally from the state of California in the United States, Edward Webb has lived in SE Asia for more than 20 years investigating processes of land cover change at mutliple scales and dimensions. He is the Principal Investigator of the Applied Plant Ecology lab, which pursues a wide range of conservation-relevant themes. He has worked with a wide range of stakeholders across a broad spectrum of society, including individuals, local and international NGOs, academics and government agencies.
