About Dr. Saurabh's Work
I am currently working as a Research Fellow in Hokkaido University, Japan, where my research focuses on integrating machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) techniques with geospatial data to solve complex environmental and sustainability challenges. As an adept Geoinformatics expert with a strong foundation in Civil Engineering, my work is driven by a deep commitment to environmental conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable development. I specialize in applying AI-driven spatial analysis for Earth Observation/Remote Sensing, land-use and land-cover change detection, disaster risk modeling, and hydrological forecasting. My technical expertise includes advanced skills in Google Earth Engine, Python, R, QGIS, ArcGIS, and ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn, enabling me to develop innovative solutions for data-driven decision-making and predictive environmental modeling
