About Dr. Priyanka's Work
Dr. Priyanka Sarkar is a Consultant to the Government of India at NITI Aayog. She holds a PhD in Wetland Ecosystem Services from Assam University and has worked as a Visiting Researcher and Graduate Research Associate at Drexel University (USA) (2019-2022) and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ISOE, Frankfurt (2022–23). An IHE Water Diplomat, Wetland Ambassador (SWS, USA), Green Talent (BMBF, Germany), IUCN Water Leader, Dr. Sarkar's research interests focus on wise use and sustainable wetland management.
