Dr. Noor Asfia is a highly accomplished professional with a distinguished career in Intellectual Property (IP), Total Quality Management (TQM), Organic Farming, Global Quality Standards, and Geographical Indications (GI). Her journey in these fields has been characterized by significant achievements, continuous learning, and an unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation.

Dr. Noor holds a Ph.D. and an MS in Total Quality Management from the Institute of Quality and Technology Management, University of the Punjab, Lahore. Her Ph.D. research centered on the application of the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) model for improving supply chain processes and enhancing exports in Pakistan's agriculture sector. Her MS research explored innovative customer relationship management strategies for agriculture sector users in the banking industry. Additionally, she holds a BBA (Hons.) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), both earned with commendable scores.

Her research contributions are vast and impactful, with publications covering critical areas such as enhancing Pakistan's halal meat exports, analyzing the challenges and prospects of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and evaluating sustainable supply chain performance in the halal meat industry. As the CEO of Intellectual Property Experts Consultancy (IPEC), Dr. Noor has been instrumental in providing legal advice, drafting IP policies, and offering expert consultancy on trade development at both national and international levels. Her work has empowered small businesses, particularly in rural areas, through the use of IP tools such as Geographical Indications, Trademarks, Collective Marks, and Certification Marks. She has conducted numerous capacity-building and training sessions for IP right holders, focusing on the protection, registration, and commercialization of IP rights, thereby significantly contributing to the IP landscape in Pakistan.

In her role as a National Consultant for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Dr. Noor led the Sindhri Mango project, developing strategies to support Geographical Indications and conducting high-level consultative sessions for stakeholders. Her tenure as Director (Agro, Art & Craft) at the GI Cell, Ministry of Commerce, Islamabad, involved the identification and registration of new GI products, conducting consultative sessions with registrants, and raising awareness for rural development.

Dr. Noor’s consultancy roles for CPEC and the Ministry of Commerce have allowed her to contribute significantly to bilateral trade research, policy formulation, and trade enhancement initiatives. These positions have sharpened her research, analysis, and strategic planning skills, making her a key contributor to Pakistan's economic and trade development.

Dr. Noor is fluent in English and Urdu, with exceptional communication, managerial, and leadership abilities. She is proficient in various IT tools, including MS Office, SPSS, ITC-COMTRADE, WITS, and Smart-PLS, which support her analytical and research work. Her certifications and expertise span a wide range of subjects, including patents, trademarks, Geographical Indications, e-commerce, ISO quality and environmental management systems, occupational health and safety management, and supply chain management.

Beyond her professional life, Dr. Noor is a black belt in Taekwondo and a decorated athlete, having won multiple gold medals at national and international levels. She has served as an ambassador for the Pakistan-China friendship delegation and actively participates in professional conferences and training sessions, demonstrating her dedication to personal growth and cross-cultural collaboration.
