About Dong-Gill's Work

Dr. Dong-Gill Kim is a Professor at Wondo Genet College of Forestry and Natural Resources, Hawassa University, Ethiopia. His research focuses on land-use change and how it impacts climate change. He investigates strategies for both adaptation and mitigation in natural and agricultural lands. He manages projects on climate change with research and educational institutions across Africa, Europe, and Latin America. He also collaborates with UN agencies like FAO and UNEP. He serves on the Scientific Steering Committees of prestigious organizations, including the Global Land Programme and UNEP's The Global Partnership on Nutrient Management.
