About Dipika's Work

Dipika is a researcher interested in environmental policy and governance of complex socio-ecological systems. She holds a PhD in Environment and Development from the Crawford School of Public Policy, the Australian National University. Currently, Dipika works with civil society organisations and research institutions to drive research-based policy action for meaningful and just impact. She is associated with ARPAN (Association for Rural Planning and Action), an Uttarakhand based NGO, working with Indigenous Rajwar communities on their tenure security. Dipika also serves as Deputy Coordinator in IUFRO’s Rural Governance and Forest Tenure Division, where she collaborates with international researchers to advance knowledge on global tenure reforms and water-forest-land nexus.
