About Davit's Work

Current employment: Since May 2026, I have been working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tokyo.
Education:
I completed my PhD at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology in March 2026. My doctoral research focused on agricultural land use, agricultural land abandonment, and sustainability transitions in highland agricultural systems.
From 2006 to 2012, I specialized in agriculture (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees), with a focus on Land Reclamation, Soil, and Water Resources Utilization and Preservation.
Work Experience:
From 2012 to 2022, I worked in the environmental and agricultural sectors. In the final two years, I served as a Project Manager for the Second Community Agricultural Resources and Competitiveness (CARMAC2) Project, funded and coordinated by the World Bank Group and implemented by the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.
