About Davit's Work

Education: From 2006 to 2012, I specialized in agriculture (Bachelor's and Master's degrees), focusing on "Land Reclamation, Soil and Water Resources Utilization and Preservation."
I am currently pursuing my PhD at the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan (to be completed by March 2026). My research focuses on agricultural land use, agricultural land abandonment, and sustainability transitions in highland agricultural systems.
Work experience: From 2012-2022, I worked in the environmental and agricultural sectors. The last two years of which I worked as a Second Community Agricultural Resources and Competitiveness (CARMAC2) Project manager, funded and coordinated by the World Bank Group and implemented by the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.
