David García Álvarez

I am a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Alcalá, interested in Land Use Cover Change mapping and Simulation Modelling (ABM/Predictive/Economic modelling). I have several publications on the uncertainty of Land Use Cover Change maps and model applications.

I have previously worked at the University of Granada and the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission.

My work has mostly focused on Peri-Urban & Urban Systems, having analysed the dynamics of the Asturias Central Area (Asturias, Spain), Greater Sydney (Australia) and Cape Town (South Africa).
