About Chao's Work
Dr. Chao Fu is Assistant Professor at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on ecosystem-based approaches to climate change adaptation and mitigation. He also serves as the Head of Research Unit of United Nations Environment Programme-International Ecosystem Management Partnership (UNEP-IEMP), where he is responsible for coordinating cross-cutting research activities under the flagship programme on Climate, Ecosystems and Livelihoods.
