About Cécile's Work
Cecile Renier is a land system scientist with a degree in bioengineering (2013) from UClouvain in Belgium and in environmental policies (2014) from AgroParisTech in France. After 5 years in cooperation - working on sustainable supply chains and biodiversity conservation, she did her doctoral research at the Earth and Life Institute at UCLouvain. Her research focuses land use change linked to agriculture (particularly cocoa deforestation) and the land limit of global sustainability targets.
