About Caroline's Work

I am a PhD candidate in Geography at UCLouvain. My research focuses on the development and social acceptance of solar energy projects in the French Alps. I study different types of initiatives, including utility-scale solar plants, citizen-driven projects, and agrivoltaics. My work explores how these projects interact with local territories, communities, and land-use practices. I hold a BSc in Geography from the University of Namur and an MSc in Agro-Environmental Management from Aarhus University.
