Carlos Morera

Morera hold a bachelor degree in physical Geography from the National University, Costa Rica (1989);  Master in Science from University of Arizona, USA,  in Natural Resources Management (1991) and Ph. D. in Environmental Planning from the Universidad de Barcelona, Spain  (2003). e is a professor in ecology and biogeography at the Geography School at UNA, where is has been a head from 2003 to 2008.  IN addition. he has been vice-president for research at UNA  2010. 2015.  He had researching about Landscape Ecology and protected areas for the last twenty years, with more than 30 articles and four books. His is member of the National Academy of History and Geography. During all his education and teach- research duties. Mister Morera integrated the Committee board of the Tropical Studies Organization, SINAC (Conservation Areas System of Costa Rica).
