About Carlos's Work
I am a Natural Resources and Environmental Engineer and a PhD candidate in Biology based in Argentina. My research focuses on land-use change and biodiversity responses in livestock-dominated landscapes of the Argentine Dry Chaco. I combine field data with remote sensing, spatial analysis, and hierarchical occupancy models to assess how management practices and landscape structure influence native fauna, contributing to land-system science and applied conservation.
