Carlos Emiliano Bolaños Aguilar

My research topics are sustainability, telecoupling and environmental justice. I'm doing a PhD in sustainability science at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in the area of Adaptation, Complexity and Socio-Ecological Systems. My main interest is to find what are the drivers of cash crops expansion in rural Mexico and its implications. I use an interdisciplinary approach connecting the telecoupling framework with critical environmental justice theory to do so.
