About Carlos's Work

PhD in Geography by Clark University (USA), currently affiliated to the Environmental Geography Research Center (CIGA) of the National University of Mexico (UNAM). My research interests broadly involve rural livelihoods at the intersection of global environmental change and economic globalization. I study these interactions with a focus on agency-institutions interactions, land systems, agroecology, and characterization of forest dynamics with time-series. My research experience is mostly based on Latin American cases.
