Beckline Mukete

Beckline Mukete is Forestry Advisor at Desertfarming in Copenhagen, Denmark. He graduated with a PhD in Forest Management from the Beijing Forestry University,China; an MSc degree in Ecological Sciences from the VU University Amsterdam, the Netherlands and a BSc degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Dschang, Cameroon. His research involves the application of GIS technology, Earth Observation/Remote Sensing, field surveys, socioeconomic and statistical models in studying the socioeconomic dimensions of forestry, poverty, Food Security/Sovereignty, environmental sustainability, land use and climate changes. He has authored and co-authored several scientific and review articles which have appeared in peer-reviewed journals and other media. Aside having managed several donors funded research projects, he has also attended many international conferences where his research works have often been presented.
