About Badabate's Work

I am a scientist in Integrated Land Use Systems and Multifunctional Landscape Analyses. I am from Togo (West Africa). I hold a Bachelor degree in Natural Sciences and Geosciences and an MSc degree in Environmental Management, both from the University of Lomé (Togo). My Ph.D. degree in Climate Change and Land Use was earned at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana) in 2016. My PhD research was sponsored by WASCAL Programme funded by the German Cooperation (BMBF). Since 2009 to date, I am a research assistant with research interests covering multifunctional landscapes dynamics, geoinformation and spatial ecology, impacts and ecosystem services assessment and Simulation Modelling (ABM/Predictive/Economic modelling), Monitoring of the dynamics of soil organic carbon and total nitrogen at landscape level, Land use and climate change mitigation, Integrated landscape analysis. I had consultancy contracts with CGIAR ICARDA, UNU-INRA, and worked within international programs (RIPIECSA, WASCAL). I co-authored peer-reviewed publications indexed in Thomson Reuters ISI, Elsevier SCOPUS and Springer. My publications and citations are available on Research Gate and Google Citations. I served as manuscript reviewer for several scientific journals. My future interest is to deepen my knowledge domain, strengthen my skills, and contribute building a sustainable world by collaborating in inter- and trans-disciplinary projects at national and international levels.
