About Astrid's Work
Interdisciplinary and spatially explicit research on human-nature interactions in the context of land cover and land use change. With a bachelor in International Development Studies, two masters in Environmental Sciences and GIS, a PhD in Remote Sensing and my current work as intergrated assessment modeller of global agricultural systems, I would put myself in the "geoscience" box if I have to choose, but I rather see myself as a bridge builder between gamma and bèta scientists.
