Antonio Fonseca

I hold a degree in environmental engineering and a postgraduate degree in statistics. In 2016, I was honored to be recognized as an Emerging Leader by the Skoll Foundation. My ongoing research focuses on a comprehensive analysis of diverse deforestation, land use and cover map sources within the Pan-Amazon region. The objective is to discern variations among these sources and maps, exploring metrics for aggregation and generating novel insights. This work aims to enhance communication with decision-makers in environmental conservation and sustainable land use.
