About Anne-Gaelle's Work

My projects focus on land-use and climate change impacts on biodiversity and ecosystem services. My research interest covers a broad range of areas including integrated and multidisciplinary approaches for coupling biophysical and economic models, environmental management decision-making, spatial information, climate change, landscape change dynamics, and biodiversity conservation. I'm particularly interested in developing ecosystem services indicators that are robust, relevant and credible for policy-makers. I've been an active participant with IPBES (as a Coordinating Lead Author and a member delegate for New Zealand), and an advisor on several governmental science expert panels. I advised Ministry for the Environment for several environmental reports including Our land 2018, and Environment Aotearoa 2019.
