About Ankita's Work

Ankita Saxena is a postdoctoral researcher at Land Use Change and Climate Research group. She is a computer engineer by training and did her PhD in Land use change and urban growth modelling using cellular automata and geospatial techniques. She is presently working on CRAFTY-Global land use model development under different shared socioeconomic pathways and climate change scenarios to analyse various aspects of land use change. Her work also includes Photovoltaic Potential Modelling and urban growth modelling both at global scale (for more see also PV Potential).
