Amit BATAR

Dr. Amit Kumar Batar is a Research Associate at the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), Japan. An environmental scientist specializing in climate change, biodiversity, hazards, forest resilience, Indigenous Knowledges, and socio-ecological systems. He has published widely, edited volumes with Cambridge and Springer Nature, and contributes to global sustainability networks including ILTER, APBON, and GEO BON.
