Allan Yu Iwama

Currently I'm a researcher at National Center for Monitoring and Early Warning of Natural Disasters (CEMADEN). My work focuses on participatory mapping, citizen science, and climate change adaptation. I'm interested in the interfaces between open science, remote sensing, and land cover and land use change linked to disaster risk reduction.
I am active in collaborative networks in Brazil, Africa, Canada, and Chile.
