About Alejandra's Work

I studied Biology in Bolivia at the “Universidad Mayor de San Simón” later I made my rout into pursuing sustainable alternatives for environmental systems management (at that moment I did not know this) so I made a specialization on soil information for sustainable natural resources management, from there I jumped to a MSc program on Geoinformatics and Earth observation in The Netherlands. Today I am working at UNAM in Mexico more integrated with the transdisciplinary and participative approach of doing science for and with communities, both rural and urban through capacity building on monitoring, measuring and managing their territories.
