Akash Verma

I am a nature-based solutions practitioner working on the restoration of forest and peatland ecosystems across Southeast Asia. My work focuses on ecosystem restoration, carbon projects, and the application of remote sensing and field-based approaches to support climate and conservation outcomes.

I hold a PhD in Plant Ecology and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National University of Singapore, where my research focused on aboveground biomass estimation using field measurements and remote sensing technologies.
