PhD in Ecology by the INECOL, A.C. Her research focuses on rivers and riverbanks, community monitoring of water quality, and local water governance systems. Promotes transdicsiplinarity approaches. Full-time professor at CENTRUS of the Universidad Iberoamericana and participates in collaborative networks on ecosystems and biodiversity, such as the National Observatory of Socio-ecosystemic Sustainability, and the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES).
