Congratulations to all the IPBES members and experts involved, especially GLP SSC member Ximena Rueda (Report Co-chair) and GLP member Laura Sonter, for their leadership in coordinating and producing this landmark report!
At the twelfth session of the IPBES Plenary, held in Manchester, UK, from 3 to 8 February 2026, the IPBES Methodological assessment of the impact and dependency of business on biodiversity and nature’s contributions to people (Business and Biodiversity Assessment) was accepted, and its summary for policymakers was approved.
