Instituto de Ecología Regional
Dr. Sofia Nanni is postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Ecología Regional in Tucumán, Argentina. Her general research interest lies at the intersection of conservation biology, land system science, and human dimensions of wildlife, where she works to understand the links between anthropic land-use and land-cover change and medium-large mammal conservation at different scales, with a special focus on factors promoting coexistence between humans and medium-large mammals. She is also interested in incorporating the human dimensions of wildlife in conservation and land-use science. She is a Science, Technology and Policy program (STeP) Fellow of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research.
