The Global Land Programme (GLP) Scientific Steering Committee (SSC) invites calls to host the GLP 5th Open Science Meeting (OSM) to take place preferably in late 2021 or early 2022. 

Held every 2 to 4 years, the GLP Open Science Meeting provides an invaluable opportunity to bring the land system science community together from around the world to exchange progress on science; be inspired by debates on advances and the links between science, policy, and practice; and discuss, learn, and plan for the future of the GLP community, working groups, nodal offices, and other initiatives. 

Would you and your institution like to be an integral part of this premier event of the land system science community as we endeavor to contribute to sustainability transformations? 

The call is now open to host the 5th GLP Open Science Meeting in Fall 2021 or Spring 2022.

Deadline extended! Expressions of Interest are now due September 15, 2020. GLPs’ Scientific Steering Committee will then invite a shortlist of selected potential hosts to submit a full bid.
