AidData has announced the public beta launch of geo(query), a geospatial data extraction tool that makes is easier for policy analysts, program evaluators, and scientists to contuct analysis of development policies and programs using geospatial data.
Geo(query) users can assemble a set of variables at geographical units and time periods of their choosing using a supercomputer at the College of William and Mary. After the user submits the request, he or she will get an email with the dataset that you requested in a .csv file.
AidData functions as a stand-alone development research lab at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
