Linking Science and Policy in Global-Local-Global Analysis of Systems Sustainability

The workshop will involve a discussion of ways to improve science-policy linkages including suggestions for research priorities for the global change science community interested in providing relevant information for on-going policy dialogs, and the challenges and opportunities for improving science-policy linkages with the goal of generating more relevant science and better policy outcomes.  

The workshop will begin with each speaker making opening remarks (~5 minutes) on what each speaker sees as the biggest issues in this arena. The set of speakers we have invited span a wide range of interests and experiences. We will then have a moderated discussion among the speakers that builds from the opening remarks. This will be followed by Q/A and a discussion with the wider GLASSNET community.
